Silje was born in 1982, and she is living in Loerenskog 10 km north-east of Oslo. Silje received her well deserved black belt in Honbu dojo-England, 7th Dec 2003, graded by Kevin Pell Hanshi 8th Dan, Jo-Inge Nordli Sensei 3rd Dan and Sensei Ronny Sannerud 2nd Dan.

Silje is the highest ranked female in Skedsmo JJC, and she is also the first female inside the Akershus Shire to achieve a black belt in Ju-Jitsu. Silje is one of the clubs biggest talents, and she is a model for other Ju-Jitsuka. In 2003 she was elected in to the Board of Eastern Norway Martial Arts Districts representing Ju-Jitsu.
Silje is working part time as aerobics - and spinning instructor at a training centre in Loerenskog. She is also working part time at a mental hospital. Silje is a student of medicine at the University of Oslo.
Sensei silje is an instructor at the Lillestrom Ju-Jitsu Dojo and the Branas skole Ju-Jitsu Dojo.
