I was born in Zagreb on the 22nd of January 1984. I live in a small town called Jastrebarsko which is just 50 kilometers away from our nation’s capital. I currently work as a bookkeeper in an accountant firm located in Zagreb and part time I manage a website for a real-estate agency in Jastrebarsko. Since I was young, I was very interested in martial arts, but somehow I didn’t find my self in the martial arts that were active in Jastrebarsko at the time. Then I met sensei Miro who was my teacher in high school. And so it began, I learned my first technique right there at the school bench, although it was very painful the feeling was overwhelming and I found what I was looking for. I was looking for a martial art with no limitations what by rules, by fighting style or what so ever, and that is exactly what I got. I started training in the year 2000. Sensei Miro Zdunic gave me my black belt 1st Dan in 2005, and since then Lana Barbir and myself have run a club in Jastrebarsko. I am glad that I have Miro for a sensei because he learned me many different marshal arts ways. Now I can explore and combine those techniques and deepen further knowledge in marshal arts. I like many techniques from different styles but my favorite marshal art is escrima knife and stick fighting. |
