My name is Lana Barbir. I was born on August 22nd 1984 in Zagreb and I live in Jastrebarsko where I have finished secondary commercial school. I work in the accounting office of a company in Zagreb. I have been active in orienteering for seven years where I have achieved excellent results, but I have always been attracted to martial arts and I adored movies with S. Segal. When I saw a demonstration by Sensei Zdunic I liked it very much and so I started practicing it. For some of the moves I thought I would never learn them. Now I have been practicing for seven years and I succeeded in reaching the black belt. I have participated in numerous demonstrations. Short and fast techniques I like most, blows with elbow or knee, and concerning weapon - knife techniques. In Jastrebarsko we have a club that is lead by Manuel F. and me. We aren't that numerous but we are excellent. We have sessions with children as well, whereof the youngest is five years old. My two younger sisters (Maja 12 and Marija 11) have been practicing already for four years. |
