I am married with 2 children and at the moment live in Harrow, London. I first started my training with Ishin Ryu Ju-Jitsu under Kevin Pell Hanshi in September 1998.
I gained my tile of Sempai after a very hard grading on the 1st of September 2002. I also became a member of the Ishin Ryu combat team after a tough selection of overall commitment and merit. I was invited to join in June 1999 under the instruction of Kevin Pell Hanshi. Now with my present grade I am able to instruct at the Harrow Dojo and assist in our many other clubs which I enjoy very much. My own children train at Harrows infant and junior classes, which they both enjoy. |
I have been all over England, Wales and abroad training with Kevin Pell Hanshi. I have gone to holiday camps for a week and also for weekend courses and day seminars all other Europe. I have been to open days of sport centres and to school fete's doing shows for charity. Since my time joining the club I now have a very broad range of people I call friends from abroad and in this country.
I currently teach at the Harrow Dojo, and I am also an assistant instructor at the Borehamwood Dojo under my teacher Kevin Pell Hanshi.
On Saturday the 17th of March 2007, Andy was awarded his 1st Dan by Ishin Ryu Ju-Jitsu's founder and chief instructor, Kevin Pell Hanshi at the organisation's 17th Anniversary presentation dinner held in Borehamwood in Hertfordshire, along with his inaugeration into the Guild of Renmei Yudansha.
