| General Information: |
The club was founded in 1991 by Maurice Thorpe Renshi. Maurice is a 4th Dan Judoka who has over 30 years experience in Judo. In 1995 he was joined by Adam Sewell and together they made Brandon a successful club with 2 National Champions and countless area champions. Brandon has also won the area leauge championship twice in two years.
Brandon currently has 30-40 members training regularly including juniors and seniors. Since becoming part of the Ishin Ryu Federation Adam has developed a truly testing syllabus which incorporates all aspects of Judo, taking the sport aspect away, and concentrating on Judo as a martial art.
The school moved venue from brandon to weeting village hall at the start of 2003
